Is our data backed up in case of emergency?
Yes. First of all storage is RAID10 in other words you get protection from disk failure. As your data is backed up nightly and written on multiple disks. Don't worry, our uptime is 99%.
Is TupleFish reliable, secure, and confidential? Is our data safe? Where is the data hosted?
Absolutely! We at Y!Giraffe take all responsible precautions to keep your data safe and secure. Our state of the art redundant server cluster is hosted and professionally managed by our friends at SliceHost. The guys at SliceHost are the best at what they do and they're professionally backed by RackSpace, a recognized leader in high-end hosting.
Can I keep my staff/clients from seeing specific projects?
Yes you can! and it's really easy. You can give anyone permission to access any project. Simply login to your project, and click on the Staff and Users link.

Click on the Add/Remove Users link to edit permissions.
There you can add people by grabbing their names from the People you would like to add section and dropping their names in the glowing blue box.

Adding users to a project is easy! Drag and drop their names to the blue box to add them.
Once you add the staff/client of your choice. Anybody in the list will be able to see the project. On the other hand if their names are not under the People currently assigned to this project header. Then they won't be able to see the project in question. However, if you want to remove users from a project so that they won't be able to access it...

Removing users from a project is as easy as adding them! Remember if their names are back in the red box they will not be able to access the project.
Can we customize TupleFish?
Unfortunately that option is not available for the mean time. Although we do plan to implement that feature in the near future.
Can we install TupleFish on our own server?
Currently we do not offer installable versions of TupleFish. All Y!Giraffe products are only available as hosted products. We maintain the servers, the security, all the updates and improvements so you don't have to worry about a thing. Think of it as outsourcing your IT department to us.
Do you offer phone support?
We do not offer phone support but we do offer unlimited email support to all our paying customers. We do our best to reply to every email within just a few hours of receiving it. We also make sure one of the developers or a knowledgeable Y!Giraffe employee answers your email. We do not outsource our support overseas or employ unqualified support staff.
Are there any signup fees? Termination Fees? Any hidden fees we should know about?
No, no and double no! we believe that one time extra fees is not a good way to do business. We don't charge for signup fees, termination fees, or any additional fees. The price you pay is simply the fixed monthly fee based on the plan you've chosen. We also happen to not charge by the person. Each TupleFish account except for the Ocean account, has a fixed number of people you can assign as staffers or clients. So regardless if you fill that quota or not you're still paying the same price.
How does your refund policy work?
TupleFish is a month-to-month pay-as-you-go service. However we do offer refunds but they must be done within 7 days of the original payment date. You can cancel the service at any time and you won't be charged again, but you will be responsible for any charges already incurred.
Can we pay for TupleFish a year in advance? Do you accept POS? or payment by check?
We only accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover).
Do you offer special pricing for non-profits, universities, or other groups in need?
We believe in offering the best possible prices to everyone interested in our products. Currently we do not offer special pricing for non-profits, universities, or other groups in need. But if the demand arise then who are we to deny it?
Do you have an affiliate or reseller program? Do you white label your products?
Currently we do not offer an affiliate or reseller program, the reason being TupleFish is quite a new product. But we're not writing it off just yet. Also we do not white label our products.
Is TupleFish available in other languages besides english?
At this time TupleFish's interface is only available in english. Localization and translation of the interface is something we will be working on in the future.
Sometimes when I try to login to TupleFish I get a redirect error page. What gives?
Yes that has happened in a couple of occasions. Some of us tend to forget to click on the Log Out link when we exit TupleFish. Don't worry though its quite a simple problem to solve. The explanation for this problem resides in the fact that TupleFish uses cookies to help you with your work in TupleFish's environment.
To solve the problem all you have to do is clear the cookies in your browsers cache. To learn more click on the link How to delete cookies.
